What is the WiFi speed at your cowork spaces?
The WiFi speed varies depending on the property type as well as the country infrastructure however it’s of primary importance for us to provide you with the best possible WiFi service. The average WiFi speed for Selina Europe is 50MB, for Selina North America 50MB, for Selina Central America 30MB, and for Selina South America 30MB.
What COVID-related measures is Selina taking to keep cowork users safe?
The wellbeing of our guests, staff, and community of travelers has always and will always be our top priority. Here’s how we’re keeping you safe:
- Frequent disinfection of high-touch surfaces such as door handles, switches, tables, and remote controls - Toilets, faucets, and sinks undergo deep disinfection 5 times a day - We have increased spacing between hot desks and dedicated desks, plus we’re operating at 50% capacity and adhere to social distancing recommendations. - We’ve provided cleaning materials for guests to use at their personal desks. - We encourage our coworkers to bring their own plates and cups however if this is not possible, we are currently using disposable, recyclable cutlery, plates, and cups
Is the cowork space open 24-hours?
Like with other common areas at Selina, our cowork spaces close at 11 pm. We may be able to make exceptions depending on our security staff however it is best to contact your upcoming location via our chat or their Facebook page to see how we can best accommodate your needs.
Is there enough storage space?
In our community room, luggage storage is a common space, so it depends on the current occupancy. In general, spaces are big enough to comfortably store everything you need to live, work, and explore.
Is there an additional cost to store bags?
Every Selina provides free luggage storage for the first 24 hours after check-out however some locations may charge an extra fee for every day after those first 24 hours. To see if your location charges extra for additional days, please contact us via our live chat or send a message to your upcoming location’s Facebook page.
What equipment is available in the common kitchen?
Our common kitchens are fully equipped with everything you need to prep meals and feel at home. This includes silverware, cutlery, pots, pans, a stove, and more!
How many people does the subscription accommodate?
1 CoLive package accommodates 1 person. To add an additional CoLive member to your package you will be charged an additional 25% of the original price. The additional member will share your private room and will also receive all on-site benefits available to our CoLive community. Guests staying in private rooms are able to invite visitors to stay up to 7 nights per month. The additional guest will receive accommodation only and will not receive additional benefits such as Co-Work, Wellness, etc.Please note: The number of occupants can not exceed the room types’ occupancy limitation as shown on the booking page (e.g. Micro Room 2-person capacity, Standard room 2-person capacity etc).
CoLive vs CoLive Flex
What is the difference between CoLive and CoLive Flex?
CoLive allows guests to live in up to 3 Selina locations around the world for a continuous period of 30 nights. CoLive Flex allows guests to buy a bulk number of 30 nights and redeem them up to 5 months after their first check-in date. With CoLive Flex, guests must stay a minimum of 3 nights at each location.
Do my CoLive Flex nights have an expiry date?
Your CoLive Flex nights will expire 5 months after your first check-in date. That means you will need to redeem all of your CoLive Flex nights before this time.
Is it obligatory to switch locations or countries when CoLiving?
CoLive subscription packages are regional. That means you are able to switch locations up to 3 times a month but this is not obligatory - you can stay in one location throughout the entire duration of your subscription. It’s time to choose your own adventure!
Is it possible to CoLive in more than 3 locations per month?
Yes! Choosing CoLive Flex will allow you to travel freely and live in up to 10 different destinations. Please note, there is a minimum stay of 3 nights at each location.
Cancellation & Modification
If I need to modify booking, will I be charged?
If you modify your booking 48 hours prior to your designated check-in date, you will not be charged. To modify your reservation for free once you’ve already arrived at Selina, or for any additional queries, please contact email@example.com. Guests are only permitted to make one modification to their Selina CoLive bookings per month.
Who should I contact if I want to switch a location?
Once you have paid your deposit, you’ll receive an email from our Central Reservations Center with information on how to reserve your stay. Please note that you will only be able to book your next stay based on availability. For more information on destination availability, feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is the cancellation policy for CoLive and CoLive Flex?
Both CoLive and CoLive Flex have the same cancellation policies. If you cancel up to 15 days before your scheduled arrival at the first location you will receive a full refund. If you are a CoLive guest (as opposed to a CoLive Flex guest) this will not include your $100 deposit as the deposit is non-refundable.
In addition, CoLive guests will be able to cancel their CoLive subscription up to 7 days prior to monthly renewal. You can cancel by contacting your representative at the central reservation center. Please check your booking confirmation for the exact date of the monthly subscription renewal. Cancellation will apply to the following subscription month.
Am I able to retrieve my deposit once it has been paid?
No, the $100 deposit to secure your subscription spot is non-refundable. If you decide to cancel your subscription up to 15 days before the first check-in date, you will receive a full refund (minus the $100 deposit).
